There is a building in Rome that never ceases to puzzle those who look at it. It is located in the EUR district, stands on a podium, and rises into the sky with the precise geometry of an idea that allows no compromise. They call it “the Square Colosseum,” but its official name is Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana.
Designed in 1936 by Giovanni Guerrini, Ernesto Lapadula, and Mario Romano and made of travertine, it was erected to celebrate the genius of the Italian people. Four identical facades, marked by the tightly packed repetition of 216 round arches that evoke the Colosseum without imitating it.
It is from that vision, rational and solemn, geometric and at the same time profoundly human, that Creative Director Alberto Bondoni drew inspiration to design the stand with which Linea Calì will participate in SICAM 2026. Not a trade fair setup. Almost a manifesto.

The parallel with the Palace of Civilization is not decorative. It is structural. That palace was created to celebrate Italy in a universal form: not a particular object, but a principle.
The architectural project that Alberto Bondoni designed for us arises from this very logic: a temporary architecture that speaks of our permanent identity. At SICAM 2026 we will bring, in addition to the collections that over time have defined our character, the new products we are preparing with the care that everything bearing our name requires.
We look forward to seeing you in Pordenone, from October 20 to 23.
