The classic black and white combination returns, a re-enactment of the artistic current born in the sixties.
Black, a timeless colour, becomes livable for the home and accessible to everyone. From shiny – showy and difficult to manage- it becomes opaque revealing an unexpected three-dimensionality that highlights the shapes of the object.
It may seem strange, but the black matt finish is also softer to the touch than the others, in some ways reminiscent of the tactile sensation of velvet.
The matt black finish, in addition to being beautiful, is also safe because it inhibits the growth of bacteria by more than 99% compared to a standard paint.
All the handles chosen in the matt black finish, carrying this particular antibacterial treatment, do not need to be cleaned with aggressive disinfectants (containing 75% alcohol or 1% chlorine-based such as bleach) which in the long run could cause the deterioration of the paint.
White, on the other hand, becomes shiny like a mirror to reflect the light and create a particular contrast with its opposite.
We recommend the following combinations:
- Polished door > matt black handle
- Matt door > polished white handle
We do not recommend combining white doors with white handles because there are infinite shades of white and there is the risk of ending up with a door that has a slightly different shade of white. Obviously if the door is in wood then this problem does not exist.
