I’ll let you have it!

From our “Calendar of Italian gestures”, today we present a gesture that symbolizes teaching someone a lesson (physical or verbal). A few fingers are brought together while the thumb and index finger are extended. The latter approaches that of the other hand, almost touching. Both hands are moved downwards.

The handle of the month

The search for balance, for a harmonious and measured order, is what inspired the birth of the Glamor collection of handles.

Its design has its roots in the Modern Movement of Italian architecture, born between the 1920s and 1930s, when beauty and functionality were fused into a single vision.

Every object had to respond to a specific purpose, and do it with style. In fact, with great style. It is not a coincidence that one of the cardinal principles of that movement was: “What is functional is beautiful.”

Glamor perfectly embodies this philosophy. Its forms, essential and pure, are free of superfluous ornaments, and for this reason, they capture the eye: elegance comes from simplicity.

The design is based on a refined play of proportions: modules that overlap and gradually reduce as they move away from the handgrip stem, creating a silhouette with an austere and important character. A visual balance that gives the handle a strong, but never invasive, presence.

Further enhancing the collection is the polished nickel finish, as bright as a mirror but with a warmer tone than chrome. This sophisticated nuance softens the lines, making Glamor perfect for any type of door, from chestnut to ebony, from walnut to more contemporary finishes.
