We live in a time when people often feel the need to express their own point of view, even when not requested, diverting attention from the main subject. With the new 2024 calendar, we have tried to restore a balance by making the topic, “the object under discussions”, the protagonist once more.
Playing with the words “points of view”, we have ironically represented some of these people, to bring attention back to the main subject: the handle. To better understand the meaning of the new Linea Calì calendar, we report below the conversation with our Creative Director, Alberto Bondoni.
Alberto: “What do you do with a handle?”
Calì: “You grip it and open doors and windows.”
Alberto: “Ok, but before gripping it what do you do?”
Calì: “Mmm…”
Alberto: “Think about it.”
Calì: “I’m not sure… you look at it?”
Alberto: “Exactly! But… what if the handles were looking at us? If at some point they stopped opening the doors and started watching us?”
Calì: “Come on! That’s not possible; they don’t have eyes like us!”
Alberto: “They don’t have eyes but …”
